EADS Defence and Security Networks (EDSN) EDSN is a Telecom equipment Manufacturer, active in Private Mobile Radio (PMR) Systems. The latter will be the application brought by EDSN to ANASTASIA. It should be highlighted that EDSN is the first world-wide equipment manufacturer of Digital PMR System, which makes EDSN a good applicator in an EDA development program. EDSN is starting the development of their new generation of Hardware Platform, which will be reused in all the pieces of equipment: Base Stations, Hand-helds, and Mobiles. Very tight technical requirements, associated with integration and price constraints, make the new Platform a challenge. For that new Platform, both architecture and chip-set will be developed in-house.
