For almost 20 years the edacentrum has been organizing the edaForum for decision-makers on a regular basis. With its unique combination of economically and technically oriented lectures on the value of electronics, design and applications (EDA), the edaForum provides important information for securing the company's future. In addition to the technical challenges in the development of microelectronic systems and their applications, the invited contributions of high-ranking speakers focus on current topics of in particular economic and strategic importance.
The edaForum24 took place on December 3-4, 2024 in Berlin, in the NH Collection Berlin Mitte at Checkpoint Charlie. For a visual impression see a picture gallery here [1].
As usual, we had an exciting programme [2], comprising the following sessions:
- Chipdesign as a Key Enabler for Business
- Open Source: Roadmap to a Bright Future?!
- „Chipdesign Germany - Das Netzwerk!“
- Trends in KI und bei Chips – Wir müssen reden!
The lecture programme has started in the afternoon of December 3rd 2024 at the NH Collection Berlin Mitte at Checkpoint Charlie, continued in the morning of December 4th, 2024 and has ended after a joint lunch at around 13:30. On the evening of December 3rd 2024, the lecture programme was followed by an evening event, which offered many stimulating discussions while enjoying culinary delicacies.

On the afternoon of December 4th, 2024, the event ‘MICROELECTRONICS FOR FUTURE 2024: Why Europe needs a resilient ecosystem’ organised by VDE and ZVEI took place in the F.A.Z. Atrium Berlin. Participants who were interested in participating in MICROELECTRONICS FOR FUTURE 2024, could register for the event shortly and have bben placed on a contingent list that edacentrum has negotiated with the organisers and which leads to an invitation in all cases.
