Wolfgang Nebel displaces Erich Barke at edacentrum board

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Wolfgang Nebel was appointed as Deputy Chairman of edacentrum's Supervisory Board by the Executive Board at January 1, 2015. In his new role, he is responsible for membership development, the contacts with politicians at the National and European level, and for public relations - including the events as well. Nebel takes over the function of the relevant initiator and co-founder of the edacentrum, Prof. Dr. Erich Barke, who retired after 14 years of work on the board of edacentrum.

"I look forward to shape the development of the edacentrum", Nebel said.

edaWorkshop15 - Call for Papers available!

The Call for Papers of edaWorkshop15 (May 19-21, 2015 in Dresden) has been announced these days. Industry und Academia are invited to submit their contributions until January 19, 2015. Besides scientific contributions also application or economically oriented papers as well as reports on experiences or dissemination in the industrial environment are welcome. (Please note: This year, the conference language will be English.) edacentrum active at DATE 2014

Dresden, March 3, 2014: As every year, the edacentrum is actively engaged in the Design Automation and Test Conference and Exhibition (DATE), taking place on March 24-28, 2014 in Dresden. Besides working in DATE's executive committee edacentrum promotes the exchange between science and industry through the co-organization of the University Booth. Organizing the Exhibition Theatre, the edacentrum designed an intensive exchange of knowledge between researchers, EDA companies and industrial users. There, for example, the research project "RESCAR 2.0" (supported by edacentrum) is represented with a Hot Topic session entitled: "Mission Profile Aware Design – The Solution for Successful Design of Tomorrows Automotive Electronics".
