September 26, 2019: With more than 40 partners present, TRACE successfully conducted its final review at STMicroelectronics in Paris. The aim of the project was to facilitate the use of consumer electronics components through suitable measures during development, also in the automotive sector. The project started in October 2015 and will be completed on October 10. While communication across the entire supply chain was difficult at the beginning, all actors now share the same analysis that the gaps will be closed. An important aspect in the handling of application cases is the consideration of the entire system and not just the components. Although the project ends, work continues with major international standardization initiatives.
