Virtual DATE21 starting on February 1st

The virtual DATE2021 will take place in the first week of February: https://www.date-conference.com/. The programme is just as extensive as in "normal" years. In addition to registering for the conference, you will once again have the opportunity to register free of charge as a visitor to the exhibition and thus also be able to attend the lectures in the Exhibition Theatre (organised by edacentrum): https://www.date-conference.com/registration. We would like to draw your attention in particular to two highlights of the programme, which will be designed by two members of the technical advisory board of edacentrum:

  • Mr. Klotz from Cadence organised a BarCamp (with participation of the makers of the edaBarCamps) and a Career Fair for the Young People Programme.
  • Mr Heurung from Siemens-EDA will give an Exhibition Theatre Keynote on the topic "Digital Twin: the Future Is Now" and will also introduce the new name "Siemens EDA": https://www.date-conference.com/node/894

The edacentrum team is looking forward to meeting many members of the EDA community on this occasion, at least online.

Mourning for Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Rosenstiel

Tübingen/Hanover - We mourn the passing of our long-standing chairman of the board, Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Rosenstiel. Since its foundation in September 2001 as a board member and since October 2005 as chairman of the board, he has played a decisive role in shaping the edacentrum with the greatest commitment and skill, achieving impressive successes in close cooperation with politics, science and industry. With Prof. Rosenstiel, microelectronics has lost a personality who is also internationally outstanding. We will continue to profit from his work for a very long time. We will miss him and always remember him with gratitude.

Supervisory board, management board, members and employees of edacentrum e.V.

New Phone Numbers at edacentrum

Hannover -  The employees at the edacentrum have new telephone numbers and can thus be reached directly by phone in their home office. You can find the current phone number of your contact person on our contact website. The previous central telephone number for the edacentrum (+49 511 762-19699) will remain the same.

Virtual edaWorkshop20 on October 7-8, 2020

Hannover - Due to the fact that travel restrictions (especially in the industry) will continue to exist for some time to come, we have decided to conduct the edaWorkshop20 planned for 7-8 October 2020 exclusively online. A survey of partners from industry and science has shown that this solution - despite all restrictions - offers the best benefits that can be safely realized at present. We are currently considering a few special highlights and will inform you about the detailed program and registration opportunities soon. Keep the two days free for your online participation now, it will be worth it! Current information about the edaWorkshop20 can be found here.
